Manti Pageant

El fin de semana pasado fuimos al "Manti Pageant" que es un teatro al aire libre de Joseph Smith, el libro de Mormon y los primeros miembros de la Iglesia. Manti, que esta perdido en medio de la nada, era un pueblo muy mono...muy americano. Como llegamos 3 horas antes de que empezara la obra (habia miles de personas, y teniamos que coger buenos asientos!) Fuimos a dar una vuelta por el pueblo, y acabamos en un restaurante de hamburguesas y helado super tipico de los años 50! (Que decir que la dieta a la basura!) El templo es precioso. Y la obra valio la pena la hora y media de conducir y las tres horas dando vueltas por el pueblo! Last weekend we went to the Manti Pageant with Shawna and Brian. The pageant is basically a play about the Book of MOrmon, Joseph Smith and the early pioneers of the Church. After an hour and a half drive to Manti (which is lost in the middle of absolutely nowhere) we got to Manit, that is a tiny town, but real cute and american!! Since we got there 3 hours before the function started (We had to get good seats) we walked around town and found a great burguer joint, the kind that you would have found back in the 50's. The temple was beautiful and the play was worth the drive and the 3 hour wait!
